FIA International Sporting Code
The Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile shall be the sole international sporting authority entitled to make and enforce regulations for the encouragement and control of automobile competitions and records, and to organise FIA International Championships and shall be the final international court of appeal for the settlement of disputes arising therefrom; it being acknowledged that the Fédération Internationale Motocycliste shall exercise the same powers insofar as vehicles with one, two and three wheels are concerned.

Appendix H to the International Sporting Code
Although the recommendations in this Appendix apply in particular to
circuit races, those for other disciplines (rallies, hill- climbs, drag racing)
are also included. This Appendix shall defi ne the aims and organisation
of the supervision of the road and the emergency services and suggest
means for achieving these objectives.

Appendix L to the International Sporting Code
The issuing of all FIA International Driver’s Licences is
governed by the regulations of the International Sporting Code
and in particular by arts. 45, 47, 70 and Chapter VIII thereof.
This chapter of Appendix L specifi es grades, qualifi cation
requirements and the validity of licences for circuit racing in arts.
2 to 7, for historic car events in art. 8, for drag racing in article 9
and for handicapped drivers in art. 10.
